Stokke® MyCarrier wins award at the prestigious annual reddot design awards, the pinnacle of the International design calendar.
In recognition of its innovation, aesthetics and usability,
Stokke® MyCarrier has been named as a reddot award; Product design 2013 winner.
With more entries this year than red dot has ever seen since it’s launch in the 1950’s, the jury was faced with a mammoth task as each product was discussed and evaluated on a range of criteria over a period of days.
Over 4500 products from 54 countries, in 19 different categories were assessed by the 37 expert judges from 24 different countries in the hope of being awarded a coveted reddot award: product design 2013.
The judging process is tough and the international jury of experts only awards this sought-after seal of quality to products that set themselves apart significantly from comparable items, due to their excellent design.
Janne Strommen, Marketing Director at Stokke AS, comments:
“Stokke® MyCarrier really is an innovation in baby carrying. It’s multi-functional and grows with the child without compromising on comfort or ergonomics for either the baby or for the parent carrying. We are delighted that our dedication to design and innovation has once again been recognised by such a highly respected team of judges in the reddot design awards.”
