There have been rumblings around the internet since the new Stokke Xplory launched..... Are Stokke launching a car seat??
Yes we are! The new Stokke iziSleep by BeSafe is a unique car seat that converts to a lay down position when removed from the vehicle, turning Stokke Xplory into the BEST all round child transportation system for any child.


In the car the seat uses an innovative new patented belt routing method with a unique belt tensioning system and colour changing guides that indicate correct fitting.

An optional Isofix base is also available making those transitions in and out of the car even easier.
Stokke iziSleep by BeSafe fits straight onto the Stokke Xplory chassis without the need for additional adapters and can be used in active or rest positioning to suit your baby's needs. The lay down position relieves pressure on a child's back and allows oxygen to be more easily exchanged; essential for child development.

An oversized hood available in all six Stokke Xplory colours minimises light distraction and makes Stokke iziSleep by BeSafe a more restful environment between home, car, destination and back again.

    It's been almost a year. Will the US market ever get anything similar to the car seat available in the UK? Could I have a relative buy it and ship it? Please advise. My stokke Xplory has been through 3 babies, and it is still going (pristine conditions), but a car seat would definitely help.

    Does the izisleep come with an additional Sun Hood, or do you use the same Sun hood from the xplory and transfer it to the izisleep ?

    Is the U.S. version of the Stokke Xplory chassis different from the European version? I am currently stationed in Germany and before we head back to the U.S., I am going to buy the izisleep car seat and I want to make sure it will fit. Thanks for any info!

      Please only use Stokke own products with your Xplory. We cannot guarantee the safety of third party products. In addition, the iZi Sleep fits directly onto the Xplory chassis and you DO NOT need adapters at all.

    You need to ensure that you have the Stokke iZi Sleep by BeSafe car seat and not the standard iZi Sleep as this fits simply onto the chassis without the need for adapters. you will find user guides for all products at http://www.stokke.com
